Eros Greets and Sweets' name was inspired by a family business run by Natasha's grandparents on the island of Mauritius. Mauritians have a strong tradition of fashioning clothing and household needs by hand. By providing sewing supplies to the public from their small magasin (store), the original Eros had been a cherished part of that tradition from 1957 to 2006.
Eros Greets and Sweets brings that love and hand crafting to Canada. We pride ourselves in creating custom stationery, desserts and confections that reflect and glorify your celebration. Whether it be your wedding, baby shower, anniversary, holy day, or just sending a loved one kind thoughts, we get your message across by satisfying sight, taste and touch.
How it all began…
Dominique and Natasha met through their boyfriends whose bands were part of a community collective. Dominique taught Natasha how to knit. It is through this tradition of patiently harnessing yarn that their friendship formed.

"You gather the idea that Mauritius was made first, and then heaven; and that heaven was copied after Mauritius." Mark Twain, Following the Equator, 1897
Just as Mauritius may have inspired heaven, Mauritian culture has inspired the creations of Eros Greets and Sweets.
